Windows installation

One download. One launcher. Then survive.

The installer includes UONax, ClassicUO, and authorized game data. Choose where the managed installation lives; no separate UO installation or server configuration is required.

  1. Download the current alpha.
    Download UONax alpha 0.5.0 for Windows.
  2. Choose an installation folder.
    The UONax installer lets you choose where the launcher, managed client, and game data live. Keep at least 4 GB free at that location.
  3. Open UONax.
    The launcher checks itself, ClassicUO, and managed game data. The first full data verification can take a few minutes.
  4. Create an account.
    Enter a new username and password at login. The server automatically creates the account, subject to the three-account IP limit.
  5. Create your character.
    Choose your normal starting skills and equipment. Every player begins in Britain; read the new player guide before leaving town.

Protect your account

Use a unique password. Staff should never ask you to send your password through chat, email, or Discord.

Automatic repairs

If a managed client or game-data file is missing or altered, the launcher downloads only that file and verifies its signed SHA-256 record before installation. Screenshots, profiles, macros, and other player-created files are not removed by repair.
